TorsionCrowds is a novel tactile display that presents force stimulus distribution on large area of body. This tactile display contains multiple rotating stimulators to provide skin stretch to user's back and buttock area.

The basic idea came from my colleage: Arata Horie. I played an important role in the hardware design and the device construction. I mainly designed the passive mechanisms, for fitting stimulators to the human body curve.
